Remove Shortcut Virus From Pen Drive & SD Card

Virus Shortcut is a virus that can change original folder name and shows its own file name. It makes many shortcuts. Hide the original folder.
There are many ways to solve this problem.

- First and Easy Ways:


Download virus remover tool. Below is the Link.

Extract the downloaded file -> double Click on Install.
After successfully installed the virus remover software.
Plug-in the pen derives from your computer usb-> Pen drive shows on your computer like (I :) ->Right click and Scan with virus remover software.
Virus has gone away. It’s very effective, without losing our time


- Second and Easy Ways:

Connect Your USB storage (Pen drive/SD card) to your Computer.
Scan your storage with your antivirus program -> If your antivirus found virus then delete it.


- Third and Easy Ways:

Manually :
If you did not format your flash drive, then check whether the files are not in hidden mode. Follow the following steps.

Step 1:

Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"

http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-11613-autorun-exterminator

Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your flash drive now.

This will remove the autorun.inf files from your flash drive and also from drives.



- Fourth and Easy Ways:

Click on "Start" -->type Run --> click on Run


Type cmd and click on OK.


Here I assume your flash drive letter as I:

Enter this command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d I:\*.*

You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.

Note : Don't forget to replace the letter (I) with your flash drive letter.

-> press "Enter".


Now check for your files in Flash Drive.
